Three Saudi Arabian top-rated national sports venues and stadiums have been renovated with total area of nearly 450sqm Comsight outdoor LED displays in Riyadh, where meets a tropical desert climate that has the highest mean annual temperature of any climate on Earth.
To work without air conditioners and resist the harsh weather environment at the same time, Comsight has well applied its advanced heat dissipation technology to enhance the stability and durability. For example, they adopt high quality LEDs and industrial-grade components, high-efficient & high temperature-resistant power supplies, high temperature capacitors, <70% utilization for power supplies to keep adequate output even in high temperature, Light color painting coat to minimum the solar radiation ect. Besides, Comsight engineers still evaluate the overall heat load scientifically to select the fans and optimize the design and layout. To evaluate the heat load on and enclosure, we have taken all factors below into account:
- Total surface area of the enclosure
- Color of the enclosure
- Internal heat load
- Maximum allowable internal temperature
- Maximum ambient temperature
- Solar load
There are almost 100pcs of different-sized outdoor LED displays scattered at different locations of three large sports venues. Centralized operation and monitoring functions are especially important and significant for this project. Comsight R&D department upgraded our own PC software to enable these new functions. The new “Monitor” tab can shows the status of all connected LED Displays and read back the current displaying content on their screens by just one click.
